4th Training

During last week meeting among TBFC director Gerrard Hun, star player Del Piero Tat and advisor Z, we decided to conduct our 4th training at the field next to SMKTI.
It was our best home field ever... However, this is only a suggestion. Final decision still left to TB members to make.
Hopefully the sky does not "cry" this evening...

TBFC 2nd Match Poll Result

The dateline for voting has come to an end.
No huge surprise on the poll result.
No one would doubt on the performance of Casillas, who is top on the list, well done !
A bit incredible to see how well Evra Teh had played, not to forget that he never play field football with us prior to this match. I give him a thumb up!
However, it is quite surprizing to see Gerrard Hun was 3rd on the queue. According to rumour, this is due to a special strength from Italy Mafia who push him all the way up. Therefore, we accept that.
Ferdinand Gim, Del Piero Tat and Essien Foo completed the standing.
It was a bit "unacceptable" to find that Xavi Low and Messi Fu having an "white egg" respectively. The cause is probably these 2 fellows never online to vote for themselves?
For those who eating a delicious "white egg", please be more hardworking and try to win back respects from the rest of TBs.
Hey, TB captain, stop looking around... Don't let us down anymore!

Weekly Training II

Tbfc's first training was successfully went through last week thanks to all the participants not only from our original members, but also some new faces, we are very pleased to help the world by producing few more useful tambais, in order to fight against some serious issues like H1N1 (or H16N16) virus and global warming.

The training started in a bad weather, but luckily god also have to give face to Tambais, the rain stopped just after a while. We played 7 aside after some ball passing training game "monkey".

There are some weaknesses pointed out by our captain, ball stopping and passing are not really satisfying but considering this is our first training playing field plus the wet weather and pitch, it was ok and acceptable la.

Last week i posted a training method which is quite harsh for us, this week i found a better one..

or perhaps this one better?

Oh no...

Hope that inspired you to come for training every week ok..

A Day to Forget of Shearer Sen

As most of the TBs know, our manager cum player - Shearer Sen, first debut after his lengthy injury last season, ended in a worse possible way.
He did a fair job on the right flank, 0 cross, 0 CK won, bla bla bla...Yet, he performed much better in the second half.
Forget the rest of the good thing, the most impressive action was his sliding tackle on the No. 9 player. Our Shearer did earn his opponent respect, because that fxxking idiot No.9 has been staring on him for a long period...
But the side effect was, his knee ended in red color...
Thus, with this sacrification, i rated his overall performance as a satisfying 4 (which is same as his jersey number) ... :)
However, i still believe it was another incident off the field that affected our manager performance. It was due to Shearer papa passed away on the recent days.
According to the post match interview with Shearer Sen, he said "After the defeat, i dreamt about my papa... The following is the advice from my papa... I love my papa... I will kick those arsehole heads if there is a 3rd match... Let's see..."

In Memory of our beloved...

2nd Official Match

Date - 2-August-09
Venue - SP Police Traffic Field
Opponent - Pang FC
Result - 1 - 2

Team Line up

Match Summary :
Man of Match - Casillas + Evra Teh (TBFC)
Goal Scorer - No.9 2 (Pang FC), Italian Own goal (Pang FC)

Match Report :

This match began in a very "interesting" way. Pang FC players made 2 stupid level mistakes during kick-off. First, they kicked off by sending the ball into their own half. After advice from referee, they restarted the game by kicking the ball straight to TBFC players. That comedy scene really seems like copied from Stephen Chow "Kung Fu Football".

With only 3 substitutions to rotate, TBFC players have much overloaded their legs. At the beginning stage, both teams have an equal ball possessions. There were not much dangerous and well-planned attacks.

The first attack was from TBFC. A pretty through ball from Messi Fu, sent Z face 1 on 1 with goalie. But with low pace, he was caught by No.8 (Japanese PM) and a chance goes begging.

In the other end, a mistake pass from TBFC defender nearly cost them a dearly. However, TBFC captain Keane San displayed a brilliant one leg sliding tackle on his opponent to save TBFC blushes. Unfortunately, that tackle was enough to cause an hamstring injury to TBFC captain. He then limped off the field.

Soon after, a second mistake pass from Ferdinand Gim to Essien Foo, gifted a 1 on 1 opportunity to No.9 of Pang FC, and he punished TBFC with a well-strucked shot to the left bottom corner. It was the first ever goal conceded by Casillas since June 2008.

Gerrard Hun had a golden chance to pull the scoreline level. After dribble pass a defender, with only GK to beat, he sent his shot just wide on the left post. Few moments later, Xavi Low skipped pass a defender and able to create a space. Yet, his left foot shot let him down.

As the game approached half-time, Pang FC GK made a stupid mistake by handling a back pass. However, TBFC wasted the indirect FK with a powerless shot to the hands of GK. Again, Z was the culprit.

After the half-time team talk, TBFC seems to be the more aggressive side. They try to create more decent chances with short passes and ball possession in the midfield. But as Pang FC offside trap has been perfect in the whole match, there was nothing much TBFC players could do to split up their defence.

As the clock winding down, TBFC players lost their composure at the back and that let in the second goal. Pang FC No. 11 stolen the ball in TBFC own half and he made a free run in the box. He squre the ball to No. 9 and his first time shot straight to the upper right post. 2-0.

Casillas made sure there was no further shame by making an excellent 1 hand save. That was enough to earn him the Man of Match award from TBFC players, include referee.

On the 75minute, a goal finally arrived. A great CK from Messi Fu, and a stupid mistake by Pang FC Italian gifted a consolation goal to TBFC.

With the game going to the end, TBFC have 2 great opportunities to turn around the result. First, a miss from the injured TBFC captain Keane San inside the penalty box. Gerrard Hun then missed the second inside 93rd minute. Casillas gk straight into the feet of Messi Fu on the counter attack. His through pass found Gerrard Hun. After skipped pass a defender, again with only GK to beat, he sent a soft shot to the GK's hand.

As the referee blowed the final whistle, the match ended in a cloudy weather 2-1, first defeat in TBFC history.
